Artwork Submission Guidelines
These guidelines ensure your artwork is print-ready and avoids delays or quality issues. While general rules apply, exceptions may exist depending on the product or printing method.
✒️Vector Artwork (Preferred for All Products)
- File Types:
.AI
,.PDF
,.EPS
- Software: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign
- Key Features:
- Constructed from points and curves, allowing infinite scalability without loss of quality.
- Ideal for screen printing and CMYK digital printing.
- Text must be converted to outlines to avoid font substitution issues.
- May contain embedded pixel images—those must follow pixel artwork rules.
💡Tip: Always check that embedded images are high-resolution and CMYK formatted.
🖼️ Pixel (Bitmap) Artwork (Only for Full Digital CMYK Print)
- File Types:
.PSD
,.JPEG
,.TIF
,.PNG
- Software: Adobe Photoshop
- Requirements:
- Must be 300 dpi at actual print size.
- Must be set up in CMYK color mode (not RGB).
- Not suitable for screen printing due to resolution limitations.
⚠️ Warning: Enlarging pixel artwork reduces quality—avoid stretching or resizing low-res images.
📌 Additional Recommendations
🧾 General Setup
- Bleed: Include at least 3mm bleed where applicable.
- Safe Zone: Keep critical elements 5mm inside the trim edge.
- Crop Marks: Only include if requested.
🎨 Color Management
- Convert all colors to CMYK before submission.
- Avoid using spot colors unless specifically required.
- Be cautious with transparencies and effects—flatten them if unsure how they’ll print.
🔤 Fonts & Text
- Outline all fonts or embed them in the file.
- Avoid font sizes below 6pt for legibility, especially on small products.
🔗Linked Files
- Embed all images or supply linked files separately.
- Avoid using cloud-based links that may expire or be inaccessible.
🔍Proofing
- Always carefully review your digital proof before production.
